Loomis Lakeside at Reeds Landing will host a Candidates Forum on Monday, August 25. Presenting first at 2:30 pm will be Candidates for Hampden County District Attorney Shawn Allyn, Hall Etkin and Brett Vottero. Candidates for 1st Hampden/Hampshire State Senate will follow at 3:30 pm. Presenting will be Tim Allen, Chip Harrington, Tom Lachiusa, Eric Lesser and Aaron Saunders. The Candidates Forum is free and open to the public.
After welcome remarks, the candidates will be invited to deliver a three minute presentation on their community, civic, and volunteer activities, government offices held, and a policy statement or discussion of goals for their intended office. A question-and-answer period will follow and the programs will end with each candidate making a four minute closing remarks.
