Nursing Center at Loomis Lakeside receives 2016 Eli Pick Facility Award

The Nursing Center at Loomis Lakeside at Reeds Landing is receiving the Eli Pick Facility Leadership Award for top-performing skilled nursing centers and the leaders who make them excel. The award is given by the American College of Health Care Administrators (ACHCA) for excellent reviews by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid. Springfield Visionaries to be Honored

Twenty years ago, Loomis Lakeside at Reeds Landing opened its doors to older adults. That promising beginning was the result of a vision shared by leaders from Baystate Health and Springfield College who were intent on building a first-of-its-kind retirement community in Springfield. Veterans Day at Loomis Communities

Loomis Lakeside at Reeds Landing honored those who served in the military on Veterans Day. Resident Frank Fischetti and Administrator Craig Johnson offered remarks and resident Eric Bascom said a prayer. All sang “America the Beautiful” and resident veterans in the room were asked to stand and one who had received the Purple Heart was saluted.    Read more...
