Solar Eclipse Viewing

On Monday, August 21 over 100 residents, family members and team members enjoyed the partial solar eclipse. Everyone received viewing glasses and eclipse moon pies, lemonade and iced tea. Executive Director Craig Johnson and resident Don Bliss wore eclipse fashion.   Read more...

On Thursday October 27, 2016, a cooking competition modeled after Iron Chef was held at Loomis Lakeside at Reeds Landing. Nursing Center at Loomis Lakeside receives 2016 Eli Pick Facility Award

The Nursing Center at Loomis Lakeside at Reeds Landing is receiving the Eli Pick Facility Leadership Award for top-performing skilled nursing centers and the leaders who make them excel. The award is given by the American College of Health Care Administrators (ACHCA) for excellent reviews by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid. The ACHCA uses three years of survey data to identify top-performers and fewer than 9% of facilities nationwide qualify. For the honor, the ACHCA requires:   Read more...

Residents and staff of The Loomis Communities raised $10,276 in support of the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. All four campuses of The Loomis Communities held blueberry muffin sales, gift basket raffles, dress down days, a wine tasting, sold candy, and were sponsored by friends and families to participate in the walk.    Read more...

Marius Sznajderman Holds One-Person Show at Applewood

Painter and printmaker Marius Sznajderman will show new and other works at an exhibition opening at the Applewood.
