Loomis Communities Supports the Alzheimer's Association

Loomis Communities residents and staff have joined forces by planning a variety of activities designed to support the Alzheimer’s Association with a goal of raising $7,000. Activities include: Thirty-three bridge players participated in a Bridge Marathon over the summer months that raised $2,440 and will culminate with a game of recreational bridge and buffet on World Alzheimer’s day, September 21; blueberry muffins, forget-me-nots, and Alzheimer’s Association bracelets will be sold through the month of September at each of our communities; a wine and cheese reception will be held at Loomis House on September 12; and residents, staff and family members will walk in the Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk that will be held on September 21 at Stanley Park in Westfield, MA.
