Loomis Lakeside at Reeds Landing will hold an artisan craft fair and open house on Friday October 24, noon-4 pm and Saturday, October 25, 10 am – 4 pm. Featured crafts include unique hand-made jewelry, repurposed wine bottles, sea glass creations, cards, water colors, quilted items, doll clothes and more. Featured artists include:

- Lynn Gauthier
- and many more.
- Quilted cotton purses and totes
- American Girl dresses
- Fabric pottery and jewelry, wall hangings, mats, table runners
- Alpaca accessories - gloves, hats, scarves, shawls, teddy bears, socks
- Floral and home decor, oil paintings, prints, braided and beaded jewelry
- Austrian crystal Swarovski jewelry
- Lighted bottles, bird feeders, lanterns from wine bottles
- Pens, peppermills, bowls, wine stoppers
In addition there will be a demonstration of Navajo and floor weaving by Pam Engberg and the Weavers Guild of Springfield. Delicious lunch and baked goods will also be available.
There is no charge to attend and all proceeds benefit the Loomis Lakeside at Reeds Landing Philanthropic Fund that provides resident assistance funds, staff scholarships and other improvements to Reeds Landing.
During the craft fair, Loomis Lakeside at Reeds Landing model apartments will be open for tours, and complimentary refreshments prepared by the community chef will be served.
