The Loomis Communities is pleased to announce that Mary Meffen has been appointed Director of Nursing at Loomis Lakeside at Reeds Landing Nursing Center, 807 Wilbraham Road, Springfield, MA.
Ms. Meffen has over 30 years of experience working in
settings that serve older adults, most recently at Heritage Hall West in
Agawam and Wingate at South Hadley, where she reorganized clinical
policies and procedures for improved care. She has a record of
stabilizing nursing care staff and eliminating the need for agency
nurses. Shortly after she joined Loomis Lakeside at Reeds Landing
Nursing Center, it received both deficiency-free and deficiency-free
life safety surveys from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.
She is a graduate of Springfield College School of Human Services.
