Springfield Dementia Friendly Coalition Hosts Lunch

A group of business leaders recently met at The Student Prince for lunch and presentation by the Springfield Dementia Friendly Coalition. The Loomis Communities Receives Outstanding Five-Year Accreditation

The Loomis Communities was awarded its third five-year accreditation from CARF. CARF was formerly known as the Continuing Care Accreditation Commission, and it is only nationally recognized organization that evaluates and accredits continuing care retirement communities. Dementia Program at South Hadley High School

Loomis Village resident, Rachel Tierney, and Director of Community Engagement, Carol Constant, recently a led Dementia Friendly program at South Hadley High School for Students of Ms. Chraznowki’s two Freshman Health Classes. The students learned about Rachel’s personal and family experience with Alzheimer’s Disease and the changes in the brain that cause Alzheimer’s and dementia.
