Loomis Lakeside at Reeds Landing recently honored team members’ graduations and awarded scholarships to nine students.
Six team member graduates of either high school or college were honored in a ceremony and received a gift this summer. They were: Laurie Pierre Jacques, Naomi Bacote, Vinnie Cardaropoli, Anthony Serafino, Jerome Williams and Ria Gaskin. The students’ plans include attending Holyoke Community College, American International College, Western New England University, Bridgewater State College or entering the United States Air Force.
Additionally, nine students applied for and received scholarships. They included: Devin Bunnell, Jasmine Gaskins, Ashleigh Hutchinson, Sarah Roy, and Taylor Smith. In addition, the Montagna family gave scholarships, in honor of Raymond J. Montagna, to Shaneka Facey, Laurie Jacques, and Brianna Patterson. The scholarship recipients are enrolled in a program for college or certificate program from health sciences, chemistry, multimedia journalism, psychology, business entrepreneurship, to economics.
