Loomis Village has also been voted the Best Retirement Community and Best Assisted Living by the Daily Hampshire Gazette Readers Choice Awards!
This past week, residents and team members gathered in the new village green for celebrations of Holi, a Hindu festival celebrated as the Festival of Colours, Love, and Spring.
Love is in the air at Loomis Village this Valentine’s Day! The annual cookie sale is one of our favorite traditions in the community for this all important holiday.
This holiday season, The Loomis Communities is giving back to those in the cities and towns that we call home. Through toy drives, clothing drives, stocking stuffer events, and more; the team members and residents who work and live here are making an impact.
This month, we are elated to say that the new Courtyard at Loomis Village has been completed and is open for residents and guests!
This past August, resident and team members of Loomis Village participated in the Wellness Committee’s Back to School Drive. The outpouring of support was nothing but tremendous!
Taking an inclusive look at local and national women’s history while exploring the pursuit of a more complete narrative of American history, the exhibition celebrates the intersecting lives of women and women of color in Massachusetts and beyond who changed the course of history.
Recently, Springfield was named one of the top ten places to live in Massachusetts by Luxury Travel Magazine, a distinction that is well earned!
This past week, the Resident Inclusion and Social Justice Committee was pleased to welcome JM Sorrell, a Justice of the Peace who has married many LGBTQ+ couples, has taught and hosted classes for the Sojourner Truth School for Social Change Leadership.
