Spring Reception

The Loomis Communities Spring Reception is our traditional annual event which brings our communities, residents, families, volunteers, vendors, team members, community partners, and many friends together to acknowledge the generous support of all of our constituencies. We also recognize individuals who have gone above and beyond with their time and talents as we bestow the Elvira Whiting Ball Award and the Award for Inspirational Aging to deserving honorees.

Please join us this year on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at Loomis Lakeside at Reeds Landing in Springfield for Spring Reception starting at 4:30 pm, and help us honor and celebrate our friends at Herbert J. Sims & Company with the Elvira Whiting Ball Award and Carolyn Hoyt with the Award for Inspirational Aging. Additionally, your attendance and support this year will help fund and implement enhanced technology strategies and systems to benefit both resident and team member care and communications at all three Loomis communities.
