Understanding Asian American Issues

The Loomis Communities Inclusion and Social Justice Committee is proud to welcome Dr. Kang, a Professor of Sociology and part of the Asian & Asian American studies Certificate at the University of Massachusetts; and Dr. C.N. Lee, the Director of Asian & Asian American Studies Certificate at the University of Massachusetts.

Dr. Kang and Dr. Le spent time with residents of Loomis Village to discuss the issues that Asian-Americans face in the U.S and the impact of White racism on Asian American lives. They also provided wonderful insight into how our residents can be allies for the Asian American community.
